What is a Trust Score?
Your Trust Score is a number from 0 to 100 that reflects how reliable, active, and accountable you are as a referral partner. It's calculated automatically based on your real behavior on the platform — not self-reported, not paid for, not gamed.
When a contractor is deciding whether to send a referral your way, your Trust Score is one of the first things they see on your profile. A high score tells them: this contractor shows up, does the work, and closes the job. A low score tells them to proceed with caution.
Think of it as your professional reputation — the same reputation you've been building your whole career — finally quantified and visible to the people who need to trust you most.
The four factors that make up your score.
Each factor contributes up to 25 points, for a maximum total of 100. Click any factor to learn more.
Partner Network
The number of active partnerships you have on Referly. Each active partner adds 5 points, up to a maximum of 25. A strong network shows you're embedded in the trade community — not an outsider.
Referral Activity
The total number of referrals you've sent and received. Every referral — in either direction — adds 2 points, up to a maximum of 25. Active participants earn more trust than dormant accounts.
Completion Rate
The percentage of referrals you've received that you actually completed. This is the most telling factor — it measures whether you follow through when a partner trusts you with their customer. A 100% completion rate earns the full 25 points.
Responsiveness
How quickly you respond to referrals you receive — measured as the average time from when a referral arrives to when you accept or decline it. Faster responses earn more points. Customers and partners both hate waiting.
How it all adds up.
Your score updates automatically every time you or your partner takes an action — sending a referral, accepting a job, completing a project. There's nothing to fill out and nothing to submit.
New accounts start with a neutral score. The fastest way to build trust is simple: connect with your existing trade network, accept the referrals you receive, and complete the jobs you take on. The score follows the behavior.
